I love showjumping and for the past few years I have been juggling breaking, producing and competing my own horses with building a career in recruitment.

Rehill SR's Showjumping Debut PDF Print E-mail

On Saturday 4th July we took RedHill S.R. to her first show jumping training, on a hot morning and after an hour's drive, she produced a cracking clear, round a small set of coloured fences. We purchased her from our good friend Stacey Hancock at Redhill Stud, she is by their resident, silver disc. grade A, stallion Secret Rumor out of Russet wind. Anyone looking for a youngster to produce should get in touch and we will happily forward you stacey's details. She has both the sire and the dam of this exciting 4yo and plenty of other talented young prospects. As you can see SR has plenty of technique and ability:

In addition to this horse's impressive style over a fence she has the most fantastic laid back attitude and takes everything in her stride. She loaded, travelled, warmed up, competed, then stood alone on the box whilst whilst we jumped Harrison III, without concern. Harrison's return to the ring, following a break from competition to concentrate on his flat work, was also successfull, jumping another double clear for his BSJA record missing out on a placing by less than half a second!

Thanks to everyone we met at beaver hall, for the kind words about our young horses. If you are looking for a good place for your 1st outing Beaver hall is excellent, especially now that they have their new Cafe!
